Doctoral Program

In partnership with Manipal University, CWS India offers a Ph.D. in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation. Our doctoral fellows study a broad array of species from tigers, elephants, hornbills, gibbons and mountain ungulates as well as human dimensions of conservation.

Master’s Program

In 2004, CWS India initiated the two year Masters’ Degree Program in Wildlife Biology And Conservation at the National Centre for Biological Sciences (NCBS). It’s the brainchild of Dr. K. Ullas Karanth, who donated his $200,000 WWF Getty Award to start the course.
