Dr. Raman Kumar was awarded PhD from Manipal University in 2011. His doctoral dissertation was titled, ‘Woodpecker community responses to forest management in sub-Himalayan dipterocarp forests of northwestern India’. At CWS, he was mentored by Dr. Ajith Kumar. Dr. Kumar is currently the Director of Nature Science Institute.
