We believe in inspiring, capacity building and involving people in saving India’s wildlife and wildlands. We partner with Manipal University for our doctoral program, the National Centre for Biological Sciences for our master’s program, and Duke & Inland Norway Universities for study abroad programs. We have professionally trained and educated and trained more than 250 undergraduate, master’s and doctoral students. We pioneered involving the general public in our research and have so far trained over 7,500 citizen scientists.

Storytelling
We believe in the power of the written word, of images and visuals, and collaborate with scientists and storytellers committed to wildlife conservation. These collaborations have produced 15 books, 319 peer-reviewed scientific publications, over 20 documentaries and thousands of popular articles on wildlife research and conservation in multiple languages. Our work has been featured by more than 500 media outlets including the BBC, Mongabay, National Geographic, The New York Times, Scientific American and Time Magazine.
