SCOPE

The Fundraising Coordinator plays a pivotal role in driving the growth and impact of the Centre for Wildlife Studies (CWS). This position involves close collaboration with CWS senior staff to craft compelling grant proposals, establish and nurture CSR partnerships, and identify innovative fundraising opportunities. The role requires ongoing interaction with all teams across CWS, ensuring seamless communication and a unified approach to achieving our mission. The Fundraising Coordinator’s efforts are essential in expanding CWS’s reach and strengthening its vital conservation programs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1) Assist the Managers and senior team in funding and funding-related outreach work at CWS.

2) Develop and write proposals for any CWS programs and projects. Coordination of CWS staff involved in planning, writing, and editing proposals with frequent progress review and feedback with CWS senior management.

3) Maintain accurate and up-to-date information on all submissions, grant-funded projects and donors in relevant databases, and filing systems in coordination with the CWS accounts team.

4) Identify new funding opportunities and liaise with potential donors.

5) Find opportunities for Retail Funding along with managing retail/crowdfunding platforms like Give India etc.

6) Maintain donor databases for all fundraising activities, ensuring timely submissions and contractual obligations.

7) Manage and coordinate fundraising campaigns and events with crowdfunding platforms. Submit donor reports that meet requirements and contractual obligations, ensuring that they are of a high standard and submitted on time.

The Centre for Wildlife Studies (CWS) is seeking a Media Intern to support the organization and streamlining of its growing media and communications repository. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong interest in media management, visual storytelling, and conservation outreach. The intern will play a key role in cataloguing archival media assets, supporting database organization, and assisting in the production of short-form visual content. While the position is detail-intensive, it directly contributes to the efficiency and impact of CWS’s communication and storytelling efforts.

Key Responsibilities
1. Organize and catalogue visual assets (photos, videos, presentations).
2. Maintain metadata, file naming conventions, and internal tagging systems for easy retrieval.
3. Assist in building and maintaining a searchable, version-controlled media database for internal use.
4. Support the media team in preparing, editing visual assets for outreach materials and donor communications.
5. Aid in the documentation of workflow and SOPs for long-term media system maintenance.
6. Regularly backup all media files across cloud and local storage to prevent data loss.
