The latest edition of our webinar series, ‘Wildlife Chronicles’, brings to you ‘Sci-telling: Bridging the Gap Between Science and the Public’ with Sharon Guynup and Shoba Narayan.
As journalists and authors, Sharon and Shoba share a keen interest in wildlife. Sharon is currently a Global Fellow at the Wilson International Centre and a National Geographic Explorer. She co-authored the book “Tigers Forever: Saving the World’s Most Endangered Big Cat” alongside photographer Steve Winter.
Shoba graduated from the Columbia journalism program and has been awarded a Pulitzer Fellowship and a James Beard award. She is the author of four books, including the award-winning “Monsoon Diary: A Memoir with Recipes”. It is an interesting discussion with these veteran writers about getting people excited about science, reducing misinformation, and translating research into action.
