for the next generation of scientists and conservationists

We believe that conservation of India’s wildlife depends critically on training a sound cadre of professionals, as well as engaging the public and inspiring them to care about India’s wildlife and wild places. CWS is committed to using education and awareness to fulfil our conservation mission and we do this through a doctoral program with Manipal University, a master’s program with the National Centre for Biological Sciences (NCBS) and study abroad programs for undergraduates. We have also involved more than 6,000 citizen scientists in our research and conservation projects. We also hosts international scholars from across the world and collaborate with them on research projects.
