Introduction

Our History

The Centre for Wildlife Studies is an internationally recognised centre-of-excellence in the arenas of wildlife research, in situ conservation, policy and education. In collaboration with Central and State Governments as well as partnerships with several national and international institutions CWS practices science-based conservation to promote protection of wildlife and wildlands.

TRUSTEES

A Board of Trustees with eminent citizens and conservationists as members oversees the activities of the CWS Trust. CWS has a Research Advisory Board, with reputed international scientists as members to guide its research and academic programs

Financials

CWS projects are supported by Indian and international donors.  CWS receives and reports funding from foreign sources in compliance with the Foreign Contributions (Regulation) Act. Please see below a summary of funds received and our statutory filings with the Ministry of Home Affairs.
